WHAT IS THE DRIBBLIUM TRAINING MAP?
The Dribblium training map is the must-have tool for all children/youths who wish to perfect their soccer technique. Dribblium’s mission is to convert time spent in front of a cell phone screen into an opportunity to learn a real sport (soccer), with the goal of establishing a daily training routine of at least 20 minutes to teach ball control mastery and learn dribbling techniques.
THE PROBLEM: LITTLE TIME TO PLAY
Video games, backyards turned into oases of silence, unavailable open spaces in big cities, limited parental time to accompany them to the park, mean that children are going out less and less to play with other peers, touching the ball a few times during the week and unable to develop the sensitivity and technique to control it.
THE SOLUTION: A VIDEO GAME THAT TEACHES INDIVIDUAL SOCCER TECHNIQUES
The goal of DRIBBLIUM exergaming is to teach how to improve ball control while having fun, with home soccer training sessions that teach the technique. It does not replace training at a traditional soccer school, but supplements and complements it. The more one trains, the more credits he or she earns, the more he or she climbs the leaderboard, the more he or she unlocks training levels, the more badges he or she earns, the more he or she becomes a good soccer player in real life with a greater chance of being selected by professional teams.
HOW DOES IT WORK? PLAYING YOU LEARN
There are two elements of the training/game kit:
- Training map (mat with directional graphics)
- Web app
Lessons are delivered through video tutorials on the DRIBBLIUM webapp that describe the movements to be performed on the trainingmap. Each training will unlock another, moving the player from one technique to another and from level to level with the goal of getting him to master the technical skill to control the ball to the maximum.
EVERY DRIBLING AT YOUR FEET
Our training program is divided into five levels with over 100 drills, covering all the essential aspects of individual technique, from the simplest levels 1, 2 and the most challenging 3. In fact, more experienced players can challenge their ball control skills with grade 4 drills designed to test their advanced skills. For those who aspire to an even higher level of technical mastery, Level 5 offers a unique opportunity to refine and perfect more sophisticated soccer techniques. These levels provide an ideal ladder of progression for the continued development and refinement of soccer skills.

HAVE SCOUTS SELECT YOU WHILE YOU ARE TRAINING
In the game you will be able to challenge your friends with challenges. Challenges are video challenges in which the budding athlete demonstrates his or her skills by replicating the exercise proposed by DRIBBLIUM with as much intensity/speed as possible in a defined time window. The greater the number of repetitions of the exercise in the indicated time window the higher you climb in the ranking of that challenge.The video made for the challenge will become part of the player’s video CV library on the webapp that will be visible by the community and to all scouts.
